Chris Rasmussen serves as a team partner and consultant to REV Entertainment. Rasmussen is an integral part of all business operations for REV-managed and owned properties.

Rasmussen collaborates closely with the leadership team to enhance business operations, serving as a vital part of the due diligence process for potential investments.

Chris is a Partner and Director of Top Tier Sports, which holds equity positions in multiple professional sports teams throughout the United States. He is also the majority owner of the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes and Quincy Dog Paddles, summer collegiate baseball teams in the Prospect League. as well as part of the ownership of the Lake County Captains (Single A), Cleburne Railroaders (American Association), New Mexico Goatheads (ECHL), Charlotte Checkers (AHL), and other various minor-league teams.

Rasmussen also serves as Director of the Cleburne Railroaders (American Association), and Governor for the New Mexico Goatheads, an ECHL expansion franchise that will begin play in 2026.

Chris has over 30 years of industry experience in oil and gas accounting and finance. Chris was previously CFO of Gateway Energy, a publicly traded oil and gas company. In this role, Chris helped raise capital via secondary stock offerings, as well as serving as investor relations officer. In this role, Chris helped Gateway acquire various assets as well as dispose of non-core assets.

He is currently the Controller and Partner at Recoil Resources, a private-equity-backed oil and gas production company, where he helped them raise $120 million in private equity funding. Prior to Recoil, Chris was the Chief Financial Officer for various public and private energy companies. Additionally, Chris helped with due diligence in the acquisition of three companies and the disposal of two of the company’s subsidiaries.

He is also a Partner in Story Built Homes and Haven Development Group, which is involved in the residential and commercial construction business.

Chris graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting. A native of Wharton, Texas, Chris and his wife Shannon live in Tomball and have four children, Brooke, Elise, Grant, and Bailey.
