Choctaw Stadium to Host 10 High School Football Games This Fall

ARLINGTON, Texas – High School Football at Choctaw Stadium will return to Arlington’s Entertainment District this fall with a 10-game lineup of regular season contests. The action begins on Friday, Aug. 28 with a game between North Mesquite and Sam Houston, and concludes on Thursday, Nov. 5 with an Arlington ISD district matchup between Sam Houston and Bowie. 

The slate, which includes five matchups between Arlington ISD schools, can be found below and at ChoctawStadium.com/Football. Tickets go on sale the Sunday before each game at this link and can also be purchased in-person on game day. 

Choctaw Stadium has become a regular destination on the Texas UIL high school football calendar, having hosted nearly 80 games since 2020. The 2025 season marked the venue’s busiest high school schedule to date with 20 total games, including four Class 5A and 6A playoff matchups.

  • Thursday, October 8 — Martin vs. Sam Houston 
  • Friday, October 16 — Lamar vs. Sam Houston 
  • Friday, October 23 — Arlington vs. Bowie  
  • Friday, October 30 — Aledo vs. Sam Houston 
  • Thursday, November 5 — Sam Houston vs. Bowie
