MANSFIELD, Texas – The City of Mansfield, REV Entertainment, and North Texas Soccer Club, the MLS NEXT Pro affiliate of FC Dallas, will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for Mansfield Stadium on Wednesday, December 18. Mansfield Stadium is a multi-use soccer stadium complex that is expected to open in the summer of 2026.
Mansfield Stadium will be the centerpiece of the Staybolt Street Entertainment District, which broke ground in August 2024. REV Entertainment and FC Dallas will serve as the operator of the venue upon completion, and collaborate on efforts to bring events and sports programming to the facility, including youth soccer and international tournaments.
Local officials and executives from all involved entities will participate in the groundbreaking event. This week, it was announced that North Texas Soccer Club, the reigning 2024 MLS NEXT Pro champions, will play their home games at Mansfield Stadium as the venue’s primary tenant beginning in 2026.
The 200,000 square foot venue, with a capacity of 7,000+ fixed seats, will feature four locker rooms, suites and loges, and a club space. Perkins&Will is serving as the design architect on the project, and Moss & Associates Construction is serving as the contractor. REV Entertainment and FC Dallas will serve as design and construction consultants throughout the project.
