OVERVIEW. Rangers Baseball LLC, REV Entertainment LLC, together with its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, “Company”) values your trust and is committed to protecting your privacy. In order to fully understand your rights, we encourage you to read this entire Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through: (a) your interactions and communications with Company, whether electronic, written or oral; (b) Company websites; and (c) Third Parties (as defined in Section 2) servicing Company (collectively referred to as the “Services”). This Privacy Policy is applicable to this website and all services provided (whether via this website or elsewhere) by Company, all of which will be referred to herein collectively as “App Services.” By accessing our Services or providing your information to Company, you accept and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.   1. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE RECEIVE? While you are engaging with us and utilizing our Services, we may collect certain categories of information that identifies you as an individual or what is linked or linkable to you as an individual (“Personal Information”), such as your contact details, internet and electronic activity, and, in some cases, sensitive Personal Information where required or where you have provided consent. In general, the type of information we collect will depend on how you choose to interact with us and the Services provided. When we collect your Personal Information, we store it in our customer databases, subject to your choices. If we collect your information, in most instances, the applicable page(s) or location(s) within Company will include statements regarding what information is required and its functionality, as well as instructions for you to submit required or requested information. The categories of Personal Information that we may collect include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • (1.1) Contact Information and Preferences. We may request contact information such as your name, mailing and/or email address, birth date, telephone number, e-mail address, and your preferences for how you would like to be contacted by us. We may also use Third Party Services to supplement or to ensure accuracy of contact information.
  • (1.2) Demographic Information. Depending on the Services you choose to use, we may request or collect information such as your age range, gender, race, ethnicity, marital status, geographic location, and/or primary language (“Demographic Information”), with your consent as required. Subject to your choices, we collect or use suppliers (such as advertising and marketing partners) who collect demographic information, including information about events you like or products you buy which assists us in better personalizing our Services to you.
  • (1.3) Inquiry Information. We collect information when you communicate with us, including, but not limited to, when you contact Company through our various channels for information or assistance. When you contact our customer Services teams with a query or provide us with feedback, we record that interaction for evidentiary purposes and to provide support related to your query.
  • (1.4) Device Information. When you use Company, subject to your choices, we use software and tracking tools, including but not limited to: small amounts of data which include a unique string of characters sent to your browser from a website’s computers and stored on your computer’s or device’s hard drive (“Cookies”); technology used to track activity, also known as pixel tags (“Web Beacons”); and other technologies like GPS and Wi-Fi, to collect a variety of information about you, including, but not limited to the computers, phones, and other devices used when interacting with our Services, including browser or operating system type, version, IP address, location, Cookie ID, and other similar tracking technologies. We use such technical information for internal purposes (for example, to study and improve the response times of our website). We may associate such technical information with other Personal Information you provide to us, in which case we will treat such associated information as Personal Information. Please be advised that associating technical information with Personal Information may be required for us, and our Third Parties, to recognize you and your communications with us. Our site may also serve Third Party content that contains their own Cookies or tracking technology.

We collect information regarding your use of our Services, including, but not limited to: the URL for the website that you were viewing prior to visiting the website (your “Referrer URL”); the site you visit when you leave us; how you were directed to the Services; anonymous traffic data; what you did and did not use our site for; which specific pages you accessed; how long you view each page; and the time, date, and duration of a website visit or access of Company’s Services.
  • (1.6) Social Media Engagement. We receive information regarding your use of and engagement with Company and Third Party’s social media, including online public forums, discussion boards, or chat rooms. Please note that any information you post within public forums will become public and may be read, collected, and used by anyone. Your interactions with social media companies and the use of their features are governed by their privacy policies. When you use a social media feature within our website, post to social media platforms, or post on a public space or on one of our websites, the social media site will provide us with some information about you, such as your name and the posts you make mentioning us.
  • (1.7) Other Sources. We may receive Personal Information from other sources, including Third Parties (as defined in Section 2), and from ticket sales and programs, merchandise sales, charitable programs, fan loyalty programs, sweepstakes and contests, surveys, and other promotions and activities.
  1. USES AND DISCLOSURES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. If you submit Personal Information to Company or to any other company acting on Company’s behalf (a “Service Provider”), via Company, we may use and disclose your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy, as disclosed when you first submit your information or as otherwise permissible under applicable law. The Company group and associated family of companies, which include, but are not limited to, content providers, sponsors, service providers, MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (“MLBAM”) and its related entities, or other third parties, provide Services for us such as marketing, reporting, and technical and product support (“Third Parties”). We will not sell, lease, publish, disclose, or share your Personal Information with or to anyone else, except as set forth in this Privacy Policy. When the personally identifying components of your information are removed, we may also use and disclose such anonymized information for internal purposes amongst Company, its affiliates, parent company(ies), subsidiaries and/or Third Party(s) (e.g., to learn about the age distribution of our users). If we collect your information, in most instances, the applicable page(s) or location(s) within Company’s website will include statements regarding what information is required and functionality for you to submit required or requested information. We use your information for the performance of our contract with you, for our overriding legitimate business interests, and to protect your vital interests, as described below:
  • (2.1) Ensuring Quality. We use Personal Information to help ensure the quality of our Services, including, but not limited to: maintain your account; help diagnose problems with our server; administer our websites; develop, evaluate, and improve our Services; to update and expand our business activities; and to provide other support Services.
  • (2.2) Responding to Inquiries. We use Personal Information to respond to your inquiries, including to manage your preferences, facilitate technical support, or request support or Services from Company and/or its affiliates or partners.
  • (2.3) Data Analytics. We use Personal Information to conduct data analytics so that we can better understand the individuals we serve, better communicate with you, and improve our Services.
  • (2.4) Unlawful Behavior and Legal Compliance. We use this information to prevent misuse of our intellectual property, fraud, or other crimes. We may use Personal Information to comply with applicable law, including to respond to valid legal process, including, but not limited to, a search warrant, subpoena, or court order, and/or any other instance when we believe we are required to do so by law.
  • 2.5 (Security). In order to protect you and to ensure the security of Company’s and Third Party’s operations, we may use Personal Information to secure our Services (including verifying your identity), and protect against malicious conduct, fraudulent activity, or unsafe experiences.
  • (2.6) Other Business Purposes. We may use Personal Information for other business purposes including, but not limited to: conducting audits; fraud monitoring and prevention; recordkeeping; website hosting; cloud hosting. Personal Information may be shared with customer service teams and information security in order to assist Company in providing you with support and resources.
  • (2.7) Promotions and Marketing. We may use Personal Information for marketing and promotional purposes, including, but not limited, to: (i) providing you with Company-related marketing materials and information that may be of interest to you, including, for example, special offers (e.g., new ticket programs or merchandise availability), promotions and event news; (ii) providing you with marketing and promotional materials and information from the Company’s corporate partners or sponsors, including, for example, special offers, promotions and event news; and (iii) administering a sweepstakes, contest or other promotion (if you enter a sweepstakes, contest or other promotion offered by the Company), in accordance with its rules and applicable laws.
  • (2.8) Third Parties. Company does not use sensitive Personal Information to infer characteristics about you for purposes other than those permitted by applicable law. If we need to share information for reasons not described in this policy, we will inform you prior to doing so. In order to provide our Services, we may share Personal Information with Third Parties, including, but not limited to:
  • (2.8.1) Marketing, Advertising, and Analytics. We may use Third Party marketing, advertising, and analytics partners to provide statistics and analysis about how people are using our Services in order to provide advertising and marketing for our Services and conduct sales promotions, which may be considered targeted advertising. These Third Party partners may receive information about your interactions with our Services through Third Party Cookies. Where required by law, we will first obtain your consent before engaging in the marketing or advertising activities described.
  • (2.8.2) Commercial Partners. We may provide your Personal Information to Third Parties in order to provide additional value-add Services, products, events, and/or programs (“Commercial Partners”). As the Commercial Partners we work with varies between Services, we use just-in-time information to let you know when information will be shared with them and that it will be processed in accordance with their privacy notice. In some circumstances, where sharing is not necessary for us to perform the contract you have requested, we will ask for your permission. We allow and use Third Parties as defined under applicable data privacy laws, such as those who deliver advertisements, content, or social networking or which provide other services associated with the Company, to collect data and/or serve ads. We may also make available certain data you have given to us (e.g., IP address) or that we have collected through Third Parties or publicly available means to Third Parties engaged in targeting advertisements on the Company’s App Services including for use in accordance with such Third Party’s privacy policy.
  • (2.8.3) Network Advertisers. Third Party companies manage and deliver advertisements to websites and applications such as ours (“Network Advertisers”). Network Advertisers may use information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to Company in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. A permitted Network Advertiser may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to collect information about your interaction with the Company in order to tailor certain advertisements and content delivered within the Company and on other websites within such network advertiser’s ad network. To facilitate this and other related activities, we may use Third Parties to convert your email address into a unique code (hashed email address or telephone number), which is then provided to the advertiser, Third Parties, including Third Parties that may act as Third Parties as defined under applicable data privacy laws, and/or Third Parties as set forth in this Privacy Policy.  In order to provide advertisements relevant to you, your IP address will be used, as well as your operating system and device type. Information about your particular device will be used to show you advertisements which work properly on that device. These companies may also use non-cookie technologies to recognize your computer or device and/or to collect and record information about your web surfing activity including your activities on or off Company. Please keep in mind that your web browser may not permit you to block the use of these non-cookie technologies, and those browser settings that block cookies may have no effect on such techniques. You may learn more about network advertising industry practices, and opt-out of targeted behavioral advertising, via the information and tools available from many major Third Party network advertisers.
  • (2.8.4) Social Networks. We disclose certain data to social networks such as, but not limited to, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and TikTok (“Social Networks”) to allow us to target existing users and customers with highly relevant advertising campaigns. We will not share your name, address, email address or telephone number for the purposes of such campaigns. Instead, a unique code (hashed email address) is disclosed to the applicable Social Network in order for that identifier to be matched against existing users of the relevant Social Network and to identify potentially relevant audiences for targeted advertising. Information we may share with a Social Network may include, but is not limited to, technical information about your Company activity. Information we may access about you, with your consent, from a Social Network may include, but is not limited to: your basic Social Network information; your location data; your list of contacts; friends or followers; and certain information about your activities on the Social Network. Please note that your interactions with social media companies, the use of their features, and the use of the information we share will be governed by their privacy policies. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the Privacy Policy and privacy control options of any Social Network with which you choose to disclose information.
  • (2.8.5) Successors and Business Transfers. Depending on the terms of the sale of our business, we may share information with any successor to all or part of our business. If the data controller of your information changes, then the new data controller is obligated to notify you of this change. . In addition, Company may use, disclose, or transfer your information to a Third Party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, or other disposition of all or any portion of our organization (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).
  • (2.8.6) Aggregated and Anonymous Information. We may disclose aggregated, anonymous information to Third Parties. This information is not linked to Personal Information that can identify you or another individual person. Amongst other reasons, this information may be disclosed for advertising analytics purposes.
  • (2.8.7) Other Uses or Disclosures of Personal Information. We may also use and disclose your Personal Information as we believe to be necessary or appropriate: (1) to comply with applicable law, which may include laws outside your country of residence; (2) to respond to requests from public and government authorities, which may include authorities outside your country of residence; (3) to cooperate with law enforcement; (4) to respond to a court order or subpoena; (5) to share information with a government agency or investigatory body as permitted or required by law; (6) to share information when we are investigating potential fraud, or for other legal reasons; (7) to enforce our Terms of Use; and (8) to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of you or others. In addition, notwithstanding any term to the contrary in this Privacy Policy, we reserve the right to use, disclose, or share your Personal Information and non-Personal Information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Use, or as required by law.
  1. HOW DO WE PROTECT PERSONAL INFORMATION? Company is committed to using reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures designed to protect Personal Information within our organization. The security measures we use will depend on the type of information collected. Unfortunately, however, no data transmission over the Internet nor any data storage system is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of such information on our or Third-Party sites. We are not responsible for Third Party websites. If you click on a Third-Party link, you will be taken to websites we do not control. This policy does not apply to the privacy practices of those websites. Read the privacy policy of other websites carefully. The security measures used by Company include, but are not limited to:
  • (3.1) Access Control. Access to data and Services is limited to staff at a level that is commensurate with their assigned responsibilities.
  • (3.2) Networks: Networks are designed to reduce the attack surface and to segment between production and non-production systems.
  • (3.3) Personnel: Company’s Code of Conduct and applicable policies require all staff to maintain appropriate confidentiality of Company information and receive ongoing privacy and security training.
  • (3.4) Policies: Company maintains appropriate policies, procedures, and standards relating to information security and privacy.
  • (3.5) Vulnerability Management. Company monitors for and remediates vulnerabilities of all endpoints and Services within its environment. Findings are prioritized in alignment with industry practices and independent Third Parties are utilized to validate our methods and to advise on emerging threats.
  • (3.6) Transfers of Your Personal Information. When transferring information, there are strict rules in place to ensure your information is still protected to the highest standard. Where we do this, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are put in place.
  1. RETENTION Company retains Personal Information that we receive for as long as reasonably necessary and proportionate to fulfill the purpose(s) and uses set out in this Privacy Policy, as authorized by law, for which the information was collected, and to: provide our Services and products; pursue legitimate business purposes; enforce our agreements; to meet legal, taxation, accounting, risk management or business requirements; and comply with all applicable laws. Different retention periods apply to different types of records and data and, where information is used for more than one purpose, we will retain it until the purpose with the latest period expires. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include: (1) the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide products, services or content to you; (2) whether there is a legal obligation that applies to us; and (3) whether we determine we need to retain the information due to our legal position, including, but not limited to relevant statutes of limitations, litigation, or regulatory investigations. These retention periods may be extended where circumstances so require or until a particular query, investigation or dispute is fully resolved.
  • (4.1) When Do We Retain Your Personal Information?
  • (4.1.1) When We Have Processed Information with Your Consent. If you have provided us with details of your accessible needs and withdraw your consent to this processing, then we will delete that information.
  • (4.1.2) When Necessary for Safety and Security. We also maintain limited information in separate databases to keep our platforms safe and secure, such as to detect and prevent fraud, to power cyber security protections and to enforce our terms and any attempt to circumvent them.
  • (4.1.3) When a Law Requires Us to Retain Your Information. We retain certain purchase information for accounting and tax purposes.

 

  1. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND RIGHTS. You may choose and control what information you provide about yourself and certain information which is automatically collected via Company. If you do not wish to provide certain information necessary for enhanced functionality or content on Company, please do not use such functionality or content. Remember that when you disclose information publicly online, it may be indexable by search engines or recorded by others, and any search engine index or record of your information may persist after you delete the information at the original source.
  • (5.1) Right to Opt-Out. Like many companies, we may use advertising and analytics Services that are intended to analyze your interactions with our Services, based on information obtained from Cookies or other trackers, including for delivering advertising to you (such as interest-based, targeted, or cross-context behavioral advertising). Where applicable, you may choose to opt-out of such Services. You also have the right to direct us not to process your Personal Information for targeted advertising.   • (5.2) To Control Our Use of Cookies and Tracking Tools, update your preferences in the cookie management tool on any of our websites.   1. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS. The official website of Rangers Baseball LLC (the “Rangers”) is currently mlb.com/rangers (the “Rangers’ Website”). The Rangers’ Website and the Rangers’ interactive electronic communications are operated by MLBAM.  Any personal information that MLBAM receives from you or from the Rangers in accordance with this Privacy Policy is governed by the privacy policy applicable to the Rangers’ Website, available at www.mlb.com/official-information/privacy-policy.
  1. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. Since we will continue to implement new technologies and improve our Services and features, we reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy and/or our privacy practices from time to time, consistent with applicable law. When changes are made, we will update the date at the bottom of our Privacy Policy. We will notify you of any material changes to this policy as may be required by law. We will also post an updated copy on our website. Please check our site periodically for updates.
