ARLINGTON, Texas – The 2023 World Series-champion Texas Rangers are set to begin their title defense later this month, highlighting the many upcoming events at Globe Life Field and Choctaw Stadium. MLB is set to take center stage in Arlington with the 2024 All-Star Week festivities (July 12-16), which includes the first All-Star Game in Arlington since 1995.
Globe Life Field hosted its largest-ever college baseball slate this spring, welcoming 16 of the nation’s top programs and more than 100,000 fans over three weeks of action. The venue quickly transitioned into a rodeo arena to host two days of The American Western Weekend, headlined by musical performances from Luke Bryan (March 8) and Post Malone (March 9).
Concert season at Globe Life Field kicks off with Chris Stapleton on June 15 and continues throughout the summer and fall with Journey, Def Leppard, and Steve Miller Band (Aug. 12), Green Day (Sept. 11), Kane Brown (Sept. 14), and P!NK (Nov. 6). At Choctaw Stadium, the defending-champion Arlington Renegades and Hall of Fame head coach Bob Stoops kick off the inaugural season of the new United Football League with their March 30 matchup against the Birmingham Stallions. North Texas SC of MLS NEXT Pro and the Dallas Jackals of Major League Rugby begin their respective seasons at Choctaw Stadium this month.
