ARLINGTON, Texas – For the fifth consecutive year, college baseball is coming to Globe Life Field. The venue will host its largest-ever slate this year with the Shriners Children’s College Showdown (Weekend 1: Feb. 14-16) and Amegy Bank College Baseball Series presented by Kubota (Weekend 2: Feb. 23-25, Weekend 3: March 1-3), for a total of 25 games featuring 21 of the nation’s top college baseball programs.
Nine of the 21 teams that will play at Globe Life Field this spring placed in D1 Baseball’s Preseason Top 25 Rankings: LSU (#3), Arkansas (#5), Oregon State (#7), Clemson (#15), Oklahoma State (#17), Texas (#19), Dallas Baptist (#20), Arizona (#21), and TCU (#23).
Tickets for all games are on sale now at GlobeLifeField.com/CollegeBaseball. A portion of every ticket sold from all three weekends will benefit Shriners Children’s. All three weekend tournaments and the mid-week game between LSU and Dallas Baptist on Feb. 26 will be streamed live by FloSports.
The American Rodeo is returning to Globe Life Field for a third straight year, with the best in western sports set to take center stage on Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12. The event will feature performances by country music stars Bailey Zimmerman, Riley Green, and Ella Langley. Tickets are on sale now at GlobeLifeField.com/American.
The Arlington Renegades of the United Football League are returning to the gridiron at Choctaw Stadium this spring.
