Mansfield Miracle League Field presented by the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation Set to Open on August 18

Arlington, Texas — The City of Mansfield, Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation, and KemperSports today announced the opening of the Mansfield Miracle League Field presented by the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation. The Mansfield Miracle League Field, located at Fields at Station 63, is the first dedicated baseball field that will provide a safe, accessible, and inclusive recreation experience for individuals of all abilities in Mansfield. The Mansfield Miracle League Field will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, August 18, at 11:00 a.m. CT.

“This project reflects Mansfield’s commitment to creating spaces where everyone can participate, connect, and thrive,” said Mansfield Mayor Michael Evans. “The Mansfield Mircale League Field presented by the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation will be a place where athletes of all abilities can build confidence, friendships, and lifelong memories.”

The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation donated $25,000 toward the construction of the field, which will feature Texas Rangers branding. Since 2005, the Rangers Foundation, specifically the Texas Rangers Alumni Legacy program, has supported The Miracle League DFW and its programs. Rangers alumni Mike Adams, Jerry Browne, Larry Hardy and Leon Roberts are set to attend the grand opening.

“The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation has proudly supported the Miracle League and its programming for more than 20 years,” said Karin Morris, Executive Director of the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation. “This new facility is the latest way that the Rangers Foundation will develop and serve the next generation of children of all abilities.”

The Mansfield Miracle League Field, located within the Fields at Station 63 complex, provides children with mental and physical challenges the opportunity to safely play baseball on a specially designed field featuring a cushioned, rubberized surface that accommodates wheelchairs and other mobility devices. The development is part of Fields at Station 63, a premier, future-forward sports and recreation destination that opened last fall and continues to serve as a hub for community engagement and athletic programming. The multi-purpose youth sports park is managed by KemperSports, with REV Entertainment overseeing the project on behalf of the City of Mansfield.

“This is more than just a baseball field. It’s a place where barriers are removed and everyone gets a chance to create memories,” said KemperSports Senior Vice President Steve Goris. “We are proud to be part of a project that will have such a meaningful and lasting impact on the Mansfield community.”
